The book that started it all
This book took more than five years and three pregnancies to complete. I began noting my feelings and experiences during my first pregnancy. The idea to write a book came soon after my son was born, and the excitement about our new family of three continued. I still had many notes and formed a vision of how my book could take shape.
Once the draft was completed, I couldn't find anyone to review and edit my book within my budget. I saved money for the launch of this book through freelance work. As a non-native English speaker, professional proofreading was crucial for moving forward with publishing. However, the costs were too high, and my energy gradually shifted to other projects. The book wasn't published.
During the complications of the second pregnancy, I often thought about this book. Its central message stayed with me: look for positivity no matter what happens. After I became pregnant with my third child, this book became one of my strongest support mechanisms to overcome fears, sadness and traumatic experience.
